The Northportny.info web site is an internet "directory" presenting general information about Northport New York and other areas of Long Island, plus general entertainment and information links. Like other directories, we link to various other web sites for the benefit of our site visitors, who are then able to view various services and products with a minimum of web surfing. If you have ever visited any other internet directory or portal, then you are aware that they link to many other web sites that they do not own, and some that they do. Their companies and ours work hard to provide a "starting point" web platform where visitors can jump off to a variety of internet sites containing information that would be of interest to visitors with diverse interests.

When you click on any ad banners that appear on the sites that we pop-up, the web sites of these advertisers will appear. These ads are placed with the sites we link to, and it is the pop-up site that charges fees for these advertisements and exclusively profit from same.
